Well Inspection Service

United inspection offers well testing. We test for quality and/or quantity. Questions? call us for more information.

Water quality:

Well water is not always safe drinking water. Water quality testing is a way to test the water for potentially harmful chemicals. At United we offer a standard scan for $300.00, a comprehensive scan for $500.00, and an environmental scan for $800.00. A sample of water is taken from the house, usually the kitchen sink, and the sample is sent off to the laboratory for analysis.

Water quantity

The water quantity test is to determine if the well can provide a sufficient amount of water, the fee is $100.00 when performed in conjuction with a home inspection. United requires home owner permission to perform this test because the well can run dry.

The well quantity test is a 4 hour test. The well will be run for 4 hours delivering a rate of 5 gallons per minute which amounts to 1200 gallons of water. This is an accepted criteria for a good well.
